Hi, my name is Dayson. I’m currently in high school, and my goal is to become a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist). I want to start preparing now so that when I get into nursing school, I’ll have the knowledge and confidence to succeed.

Welcome Dayson. Starting this early puts you ahead of most people who only think about CRNA once they’re already in nursing school wondering what’s next.

Chemistry and anatomy and physiology are worth getting solid on now, since those are the courses that trip people up later. Some also get a head start on shadowing or volunteering in a hospital setting, even in a non-clinical role, just to get comfortable around that environment before the stakes are higher. Good luck with it.
