Hello! I am deeply passionate about the medical field because I care about people and want to help them, even in the small ways that I can. I have a strong desire to continuously learn about healthcare services and support the well-being of others behind the scenes. I am truly excited to focus my path on making a positive, meaningful difference for patients and families when they need it most.

Welcome Jewellena. “Behind the scenes” is worth saying out loud, a lot of people who keep hospitals running never touch a patient directly and the work still matters. Ward clerks, lab techs, sterilisation staff, the person who makes sure the right blood arrives at the right bed. None of that gets a TV drama made about it and all of it decides whether the drama on screen goes well or badly.

If you haven’t already, it helps to pick a specific role or two and read what the actual working day looks like, not the mission-statement version. The gap between “supporting patient well-being” and, say, restocking a crash cart at 2am is large, and it’s worth knowing which parts of the gap you’ll enjoy before you commit years to closing it.
