    Mona Spellman is a South Jersey native and resides in Camden New Jersey. She is an Alumni of the University Scranton Class of 2007 and presently seeking higher education. She is a inductee of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing for Leadership. She is presently a home care nurse. She recently in the last several years formed a support and advocacy group called M.A.F.F.A. which stands for Mother Against Forced Foster Adoption. The group supports advocacy for mothers who have children who were adopted through the foster care system unjustly. Her goals are to create adoption reform laws which protects parents from being susceptible to the Bill Clinton Adoption and safe family acts which orphans children and frees them up for adoption if they are in the foster system too long. She is a member of the Willingboro NAACP, a volunteer for Dress for Success, and a volunteer for social justice advocacy. She recently received the 2026 Community Planning & Advocacy Council (CCAC) Helen F Spiegel Parent Leadership Award for community advocacy for children. However her most adored accomplishment is being a parent to five outstanding remarkable children three which are grown and two minor children.
